Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy applies to all ticket, guided tour, and private viewing bookings made through lysbuegalleri.no with Lysbue Galleri AS, Tordenskiolds gate 6, 0160 Oslo, Norway.

1. Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA Consumers)

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to withdraw from your booking within 14 calendar days of purchase without giving any reason, provided the visit date has not already occurred. To exercise this right, contact us before the 14-day period expires.

2. Cancelling Your Booking

Cancellations made at least 14 days before your booked visit date: full refund.
Cancellations made 3–13 days before your visit date: 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 72 hours before your visit date: non-refundable, as the exception for time-bound services under the EU Consumer Rights Directive Article 16(l) applies once the 14-day window has passed and the visit date is imminent.
Guided group tours require 7 days' notice for any date changes.

3. How to Cancel

Email your booking reference to [email protected] or call +47 23 10 45 60 during opening hours. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.

4. Exhibition Changes or Closures

In the rare event that an exhibition is closed or postponed due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. conservation emergencies), affected ticket holders will be offered a full refund or a free rebooking to an alternative date, at the customer's choice.

5. No-Shows

Failure to attend on your booked date without prior cancellation is treated as a no-show and is non-refundable.

6. Returns Address (Physical Goods, e.g. Gift Shop Purchases)

Physical items purchased in our gift shop or online may be returned within 14 days in original condition to: Lysbue Galleri AS, Returns Department, Tordenskiolds gate 6, 0160 Oslo, Norway. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.
